Toys are us!

The annual Nordic Travel Fair takes place in Helsinki. Hectic and colourful as always the travel fair attracts thousands of visitors. It is always marked on my calendar in January.

Browsing around the Fair’s exhibitions, I noticed one of my favourite animation characters. ‘Krtek’ or ‘Krteček’ (the Little Mole) is the most well-known Czech animation film and children’s book character.

I happen to know Krtek well because my family has ties to Czech Republic. But, generally Krtek is beloved by children all over the world, since books with Krtek’s adventures are published in many languages.

I found my own precious Krtek soft toy in Ideaforum as well as many cute puppets and lovely souvenirs from Finland that I can buy for my friends and family when I travel back to Greece!
